….This Index of 33 Gold and Silver Miners….many of which are widely held by Goldtent Posters…started on June 25……we had to make some changes along the way….here they are as of Dec 31 07….
……Note the Index stared at 330….each component worth 10 points…..the HUI was same value (330) that day….PIGS have really lagged the HUI in these first 6 months….HUI finished the year at 409….PIGS at 359…..a huge 50 point deficit…..Look at the diversity of results in the Index….some BIG winners and some Big Loosers…..This is why many PM Advocates say ..dont have more than 5% of your Portfolio in each stock……Going Forward I really expect the PIGS to Fly…..and surpass HUI in 2008…
