BTW…..We had an unknown here in Texas run for ag-commissioner about 15 years ago. I got behind him in a strong way because the ag-commissioner at that time was try’in to take me out of business. Nobody ever heard of the new challenger and he was a hell of a long shot to win the race. I got to know the guy and really liked his ideas. I did a ton of work with fund raising for him in the texas panhandle. Surprise, surprise…..he kicked the incumbants arse. Who was this guy?? Non other than than the present Texas governor…..Rick Perry. Never say never in politics. And BTW…..the first Texas aggie to become governor. All the best.—–aggie.

feelers for persons interested in PMs to have the next Toronto-type meeting of like minds at some location on the west coast of British Columbia?
My impression is that some persons from south of the 49th parallel of latitude are still in a huff that they lost out on extending Oregon Territory northward to 54 degrees, 40 minutes north latitude - do you remember their battle cry “54 40 or fight”? Well, they got the Alaska Panhandle to extend south to 54 40. But in my home province everything north of 54 40 (and south of it too) belongs to us British Columbia tax payers. So take a look at the mining map linked below. Do you suppose that those you want to invite to a PM meeting in British Columbia might just get here and get so excited that they will think “well, we lost out on that bid for everything north as far 54 40, but look at all those mineral prospects that lie there further north beyond 54 40″? Look at the latitude where Galore Creek and Kemess etc. are located. Lets think this through a bit longer. <g> Have a good evening.

Ron Paul…..Not a myth….great article. Thanks! Remember how close ‘ole Ross Perot came to becoming a serious presidential candidate?? And he did it on a platform with about 1/10th the substance of Ron Paul’s. I’ve learned to never say never in politics. Paul has a shot at it. All the best.—aggie.

Some really great stuff you have been posting lately. Keen eye, and a whole lot of smarts you got there.
Same for Polly & Moggy, you gals are holding up your side of the tent, and then some.
Speaking of gals….have not seen much of Ladybug or LilIrish lately?
Best to all the Ladies under the tent, Farmboy

You both are right. As for me, the tag of ‘left’ or ‘right’ means little to me. Now I view the world as ‘Cretins’ vs ‘Honest Money Lovers’. ‘Freedom’ Vs ‘Facism’. All else just seems to me, to take up space or time on the propaganda channels. Sorta like ‘paper gold’ vs ‘real gold’, only one can you truly place your trust and future in.
Geesh, I wonder when it was I became so cycnical and opinionated?

Compliments to ‘White Rose’ @ USAGOLD for this revealing article. If you are wondering about some of the often unspoken things of the declining house market…this is a read you will want to take a look at. (As in, things you probably wont hear discussed on talking head shows, until it is too late)

that Chavez has done but the more countries that do it, the better off they would be.
Now of course, Mr. RATO, will step up his begging to sell IMF gold so that they can raise money to keep the IMF and World Bank running just like they have been. Seems to me that if you have less loans and less countries borrowing, you would need less offices, less employees, less of everything. The only thing that will keep them from selling IMF gold is IF the USA, who has enough votes to block it and who have voted against it ever time it has been proposed, continues to oppose.
Have a good evening on the farm!

Comment: Paid off his country’s loans early, and pulling out from under thier thumb. Wonder if that is one of the reasons why the US picks on the guy? Maybe we all need a little ‘Chavez’ in us?

Love to see a Paul/Thompson ticket. Their election might just give us a glimpse of sanity in an insane world. A much needed breath of fresh air. All the best.—-aggie.

Special recognition to Floridagold and FullGoldCrown, some really great posts today.
Could care less if the TV goes on the Blitz. Dont think I would miss the nightly ‘news’, well, except maybe for Lou Dobbs @ CNN. Dobbs keeps hounding the government types for thier stupidities and lies. But now, a day without reading the news under the Tent, that, I would greatly grieve over.
Always best from the farm, Farmboy

by Fullgoldcrown on April 30, 2007 on 18:22 pmNow the real bombshell is if you go to the ECB website at sdw.ecb.int/search.do?type=free&query=gold%2Breceivables
The title of the graph and data is
“Eurosystem reporting sector - Gold and gold receivables”
This data calculates out as the ECB having 11,162 t of gold and gold receivables. If you then search for just “gold” the chart and data has the title of “Official reserve assets, gold (including gold deposits and, if appropriate, gold swapped) - European Central Bank vis-a-vis Extra Euro area - Stock at the end of the period”. This is just over 10 Billion Euros which equates to just 635 t of gold stock physically in the vaults!!!
If this is true then 95% of ECB gold is being traded on the market and is a “receivable” so this gold is essentially gone and the title to it is being traded. The “sacrifice” of gold sales under the WAG agreement can then be interpreted as how much of their receivables they are prepared to settle for cash each year (write-off!)
No wonder the Cartel needs to get their hands on IMF gold!
I think it would be very beneficial to have Reg Howe take a look at this data.
Cheers
Adrian

I don’t think it makes a twit who kicks whose arse between Hillary and Obama. Rudy kicks the crap outa either one IMO. It’s a shame ‘ole Ron Paul isn’t a stronger candidate. Ah, now thats interesting. When one is pronounced un-electable…….well, we ended up with Mr. Clinton didn’t we? Go Ron Go! All the best.—–aggie.

It is called worse and worser!
Sat evening my wife, daughter, her boyfriend and myself went out to private dinner with Illinois State Legislator. In course of the evening talk of Osoma Obama came up and I asked the question, “can you name any bill or important piece of legistation that he has brought forth in the legislate or the senate.” The answer was “No.” If we the people of the state of Illinois cannot come up with anything, then Obama simply has no track record because he has done nothing worthy of credit.
As far as Hillary, we were at a house party of our friends of over 40 years. The libber across the table from me was spewing all this crap of Hillary of how wonderful and such a mentor and all. And then went on to say that Hillary was the smartest woman in the world. I said to self that is enuf - I interjected that I did not know if she was the smartest woman in the world but her dealings in the cattle futures proves she is one of the smartest liers in the world. Which caused her to become belligerent.
Such is Life - that is really a sh*ty choice
